autumn/fall winter summer spring
Autumn at Harold Porter NBG
April and May mark autumn/fall. Days are often crisp and sunny, ideal for walking. Do, however, bring something warm and weatherproof as you may experience all four seasons in one day!
See the scarlet Nerine sarniensis, dusted with gold, glowing in the dell near the humpback bridge.
The memorial stone to Harold Porter, founder of the garden, is also here.
Then you might go on to the Fynbos Trail where many of the restios are at their best.
