1. The winner will receive a cash prize of R3 500 and the National Botanical Institute will retain the right to use the design from then on.
2. Each entry must be accompanied by an entry form.
3. You may submit as many designs as you wish, but each must have your name, address and telephone number securely attached to it.
4. The closing date for the competition is 27 August 2004 and no late entries will be accepted. All entries must be sent by registered mail to Sarah Struys, National Botanical Institute, Private Bag X7, Claremont, 7735 or hand-delivered to her office at the National Botanical Institute, Visitors' Centre, Kirstenbosch, Rhodes Drives, Newlands, Cape Town.
5. No responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage and no work can be returned. Arrangements can be made for designs to be collected once the winning poster has been selected.
6. Judging will take place early September and the winner will be notified by telephone.
7. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. The organisers reserve the right to modify the winning design for production.
